Amelia Beattie

Amelia Beattie is a trailblazer in the built environment industry, with a remarkable career spanning several prestigious roles. Her journey has been marked by visionary leadership and a commitment to inclusion and diversity. From her tenure at Old Mutual to leading Liberty Two Degrees, and now in Standard Bank Insurance and Asset Management, Amelia has broken barriers and set new benchmarks in the property sector.

She has championed diversity and inclusive leadership, transforming perceptions in the property industry, particularly through her work with women-led boards and executive teams.

Her book, "Lead with Heart," showcases her visionary leadership, further cementing her influence.

Amelia served as President of the South African Property Owners Association (SAPOA) from 2014 to 2015 and as Chairperson of the Women's Property Network (WPN).

She contributed to industry education and development as a trustee for WN and

SAPOA education trusts and on the Advisory Board for the WITS School of Construction

Economics & Management.
